Kindled from a blessed tree, oil glowing through untouched by fire -- light upon light. - Qur'an 24:35 I come from there, and I have memories. - Mahmoud Darwish Sun, stone, drought, silence, solitude, and peace. Essential ingredients for olive trees to thrive. Even if you are at war with a city, you must not destroy its trees. For the tree of the fields is man's life. - Deuteronomy, 20:19-20

These beautiful notecards are the fruit of a unique collaboration between Zatoun and artists wishing to support its work by bringing beauty and meaning to the pursuit of hope and peace in Palestine-Israel.

The notecards are blank inside and await your very special message. The cards offer friends of Zatoun and supporters of Palestine another way to express our solidarity and hopes for peace. They measure 12x17 cm (4¾x6¾ in.) and are printed on high-quality card stock and come with a matching envelope.

They are sold as a set -- four unique and meaningful designs based on excerpts from the Jewish Bible; the New Testament; Mahmoud Darwish, a twentieth-century Palestinian poet; and an original verse.
