About the Palestine Fair Trade Association (PFTA)
The PFTA represents farmer collectives, each made up of 100 to 200 farmer families. The PFTA is an exciting initiative seeking to support rural and traditional Palestinian communities in capacity building, sustainable livelihood development, and increased modes of democratic and civic participation through cooperative building and increased international market accessibility.
The PFTA is especially interested in supporting the development of small-scale farmers through use of micro-credits and advice on marketable products in international fair trade markets. The PFTA seeks to create farming and producing communities or cooperatives that have increased access and communication with international markets.

The youth of Palestine is in distress. They have nothing to engage them or to look forward to as the educational structure and recreational opportunities are shattered.
Through the expressive arts (art, music, drama) and literacy programs, Project Hope brings a renewed spark of hope to some of the hardest hit areas in Palestine.
Project Hope is an on-the-ground initiative administered and operated by Palestinians working with a small group of internationals and local Palestinian teachers to help bring healing, fun and learning to young people (ages 10 to 16).
