Zatoun Olive Oil in Ten Thousand Villages stores.
Zatoun is very pleased to announce that Zatoun, Fair Trade Extra Virgin Olive Oil is now available for purchase at Ten Thousand Villages stores. There are 48 stores across Canada.
The 750 mL bottle of fair trade extra virgin olive oil is priced at $20. Zatoun is only available in stores and not through the mail via Ten Thousand Villages' website. Cases of 12 bottles can be ordered via www.zatoun.com.
Also, Ten Thousand Villages has graciously offered an additional dollar from each bottle sold through their stores to help fund the "Trees for Life" program which plants olive tree saplings in Palestine.

Please note: Zatoun sells to retailers at a fixed wholesale price which is lower than the industry standard retailers may be used to. Some retailers apply a mark-up on Zatoun items based on their store target mark-up. The result is a range of prices for Zatoun on the retail shelf. Zatoun finds this acceptable as each retailer has their own set of costs, etc. which cannot be dictated by Zatoun.
What is most important from Zatoun's perspective is that the olive oil be available to individuals who would otherwise not be able to come across it. Zatoun wants as wide an exposure as possible and the retailers are helping that happen.
